Kimberley has extensive experience in the aerospace industry including senior executive positions at GKN and Hampson Industries, and most recently as CEO of international aerospace group Shimtech since its formation in 2011.
“I am delighted to be joining Aeromet at such an exciting time,” stated Kimberley (pictured). “The company is experiencing significant growth, expanding with new development programmes supporting major international customers on all three sites, and continuing to push the boundaries of advanced casting technology.”
This appointment comes shortly after the recent announcement of Dr Phil Carpenter as chief operations officer and Steve Summers as general manager of Aeromet’s Sittingbourne facility.
Aeromet is a technology-led business which specialises in the development of innovative solutions for complex parts. The company has developed and patented A20X, said to be the world’s strongest commercially available aluminium casting alloy.
