Enable this feature in the options dialog of Visual Assist.
Limited Context
Visual Assist parses the clipboard apart from its original source. Context for symbols is determined only from the content of the clipboard. If you copy a small segment of code, it is possible Visual Assist cannot determine the context of all symbols in the clipboard and hence, not color them properly.
